He then expatriated with various NGOs in Sri Lanka, Congo, Burundi, Angola, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan in contexts of emergency, post emergency and development. Obtaining a Master's degree in Geneva he worked with the ICRC several years. During his humanitarian missions conducted during the past 10 years, François realized the needs in terms of safety and security for humanitarian aid workers and decided in 2008 to set up and publish humanitarianprotection.org, a research platform for all humanitarian aid workers, providing safety & security training and NGO support. Nowodays, François perform consultancies and trainings with various NGO worldwide. Nicolas Dubout, First-aid worker / French Army, First aid training officer Graduate of a first aid national PSC1 and SC1 « rescue in combat » teaching diplomas, Nicolas works in the safety and security of public buildings and he is also a reservist in the French Army. Nicolas develops with humanitarianprotection.org specific professional trainings for humanitarian aid workers, including specific conflict zone aspects during Humanitarian missions : The blast, survival aspects, IED, drones, etc..
